Spun Metal Cones

Spun cones are pieces of seamless formed metal of varying lengths that have ends of two different diameters. Spun cones perform a variety of functions such as a cover or cap, but these spun cones usually work as either a funnel or a reducer for conveying or collecting gasses, liquids or bulk solids.

Size and Type

Wenzel Metal Spinning manufactures custom cones in a wide range of sizes from just a couple of inches in diameter, up to 60” or 70” in diameter (depending on depth, configuration, and material). Materials

Wenzel spins cones in a variety of materials such as steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum and the common alloys and tempers generally used in commercial and industrial applications.  Wenzel produces custom spun cones in thicknesses up to ¼” in steel and aluminum and 3/16” thick in stainless steel (depending on overall size and configuration).

Volume: one piece, one time orders - up to 10,000 pieces per year

Lead Time:  3 to 6 weeks, depending on size, material and volume

Delivery: FOB one of Wenzel’s manufacturing locations
